The domain was acquired by the Callet family in 1996, Château Gigognan is well-recognized for the unique excellence of its wines. Château GIGOGNAN owns 30 ha vineyards in Châteauneuf du Pape in the southern part of the appellation and 45 ha in Côtes du Rhône,where there are newly restored Châteaux in the vineyards.
In addition to several international awards from the most well-known critics (Robert Parker, the Decanter Magazine…). Château Gigognan, Châteauneuf du Pape Vigne du Regent has been recognized as the 6th best wine of the year by DECANTER Dec 2010 release.
