The Champagne House of Duval-Leroy is a 100% family-owned company. It was founded 150 years ago in Vertus (Côte des Blancs) and has been based there ever since. It is one of the last Houses to be totally independent at this size, with large vineyard holdings (200 hectares under cultivation).
Duval-Leroy has a presence in all villages classified ‘Grand Cru’ of the Côte des Blancs and has notable holdings in the ‘Grands Noirs’ of the Montagne de Reims also.
Carol Duval-Leroy has been in charge of the family business since 1991. Her overall target does not change: she determines to make Duval-Leroy an internationally recognized brand with sales between 5 and 5.5 million bottles per year.
