The Lapalu family is established in the Médoc since 1964. They produce great wines, exclusively in AOC Medoc, Haut-Médoc and White Bordeaux.
All their wines are made from grapes sourced at individually identified vineyards. Each vineyard has its own characteristics and the winemaker strives to reflect these characteristics in the finished product.
This way, the clay and chalky soil of Patache d'Aux and its grape varieties, predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon produces powerful wines that present a remarkable aptitude for ageing.
Conserving the personality of each of these vineyards, and looking to convey their style, Lapalu hopes to propose to every client gustatory sensation that will remind them of the best moments of their lives.
The methods used need to respect the natural habitat and have the least harmful repercussions as possible on the environment.
A quality chart of Domaines Lapalu organizes and forecasts the technical solutions to each production stage. The great principles are those of a production integrated to the environment and consumers.
The wine making technology and the know-how of this modern company make Lapalu wines some of the greatest wines from Bordeaux and are highly praised by Decanter and Wine Spectator.
