One of the major players in the Bordeaux wine world, Lucien Lurton and his ten children, created “Lucien Lurton & Fils” in 1993. The company was renamed "La Passion des Terroirs" ("Passion for Soils") in 1999 and became fully a wine merchant. “La Passion des Terroirs” emphasizes on the link to the soil as well as the enthusiasm for vines and wine, characteristic of the Lurton family throughout its history.
The company gradually developed its activity as Bordeaux wine merchant, specialising nowadays in the distribution of Classified Growth, second wines, Crus Bourgeois and other Grand Crus, as well as a large range of wines from the different appellations of the Bordeaux region.
Quality, authenticity and best expression of the “Terroirs” are the company’s motto.
