Gibbston Valley was founded by Alan Brady, and the region's first commercial wine was released in 1987.
In just eighteen vintages, Gibbston Valley Wines has established an outstanding reputation for producing some of New Zealand's finest cool climate wines. Pinot Noir is the best known of these, and the winery has won more awards, trophies and accolades for this variety than any other.
