Pikes, Clare Valley
|
|
Well known for its Riesling, Pikes’ story started when the Englishman Henry Pike immigrated to South Australia in 1878. He settled in the small town of Oakbank in the Adelaide Hills and in 1886 established the winery. The distinctive fish logo, which can be found on all Pikes products, reminds the English heritage of the family. Today this fish is synonymous of purity, harmony & quality. Therefore Pikes belongs to the best Australian wineries and was granted 5 stars by James Halliday.
