The Giovanni Rosso winery was founded in the early 90’s by the man of the same name. It was only as recently as 2000, at 27 years of age, that his son Davide felt prepared to settle into the family winery and begin to take control.He set on producing only wines of utmost seriousness, from his Dolcetto to his Barolo, to the extent that he wouldn’t even bottle in the weaker vintages. His wines are the epitome of the Serralunga style, being forceful, of great depth and yet extremely refined and balanced, with tremendous purity of fruit.
