EMW is looking for a professional Brand Manager to manage the fine wines portfolio in the Greater China territory through commercial plans and initiatives to drive brand sustainable growth.
The position will be fully responsible for brand success & sales target achievement related with brand positioning, marketing strategy, wine promotion and budget control, etc.
Main Responsibilities:
Brand Management
- Lead cross functional business team to optimize brand performance & across all departments & channels via integrated planning and brand P&L.
- Drive the delivery of the brand activities and communications.
- Be responsible for all the marketing reports to the related brands, providing market intelligence report including Chinese marketing trends, brand positioning and marketing plans for coming seasons.
- Provide ongoing category, channel & competitive analysis to develop recommended changes on brand strategy.
- Extract insights from a wide range of data to inform business decisions and create opportunities for growth.
Qualification Required:
- Min 3 years of relevant experience in marketing/ sales gained from FMCG/ retail/ luxury goods industry or relevant management consultancy experience
- Fair understanding of the wine & spirits industry
- University degree major in Marketing, Foreign Languages, Wine & Spirits
- High degree of personal presence with good networking, influencing and communication skills
- Fluent oral and written English and Chinese
- Result-oriented, active, motivated, enthusiastic, energetic, and team player
- Self-sufficient with a great sense of self-initiative
- Good Excel, PowerPoint skill
- Strong adaptability for growth and changes

- Take direct co-responsibility for HMD sales function results
- Create and implement the sales plan for HMD function. The plan should focus on marketing strategies and tactics for finding new B2B and B2C clients and develop current B2B and B2C clients
- To work due-diligently in developing new potential Direct Sales accounts in the designated territory within company guidelines
- Maintain acceptable margins of sale within company policy
- Conduct regular sales visit for all the active accounts to maintain and develop further business partnership
- Dealing with Private customers and Corporate customers accounts directly
- Implement national HMD promotions in designated territories
- Check daily sales report on back order
- To have sufficient understanding/observation and be very clear in targeted customers’ needs and their unique business environment when conducting business
- Using sales skills and product knowledge to sell and directly responsible for HMD and Corporate accounts to achieve sales target set up by Area Director monthly
- Follow up on finalization of business contract for respective accounts as well as renewal for current accounts
Qualification required:
- 5+ years FMCG sales and marketing, retail trade marketing experience
- University degree majored in Marketing/e-Commerce/Computer Science, or related area
- Language Skills:Fluent in Mandarin & English (both speaking & writing)
- Have national corporate /key account business development and management experiences
- Strong communication ability, result oriented, active, motivated, and leadership
